Kluberfluid CF3
After fixing of the new/reversed gear set we recommend to go for Klüberfluid C-F 3 ULTRA for operational lubrication.
Before you start the drive please go for the following procedure:
After the final adjustment of the new or eventually reversed open gear please apply by brush or spatula a layer of approximately one millimetre Klüberplex AG 11-462 priming lubricant on all load carrying tooth flanks at the gear rim and the pinion.
Klüberplex AG 11-462 gives your drive a optimum protection against corrosion and serves also as a contrast lubricant for checking the drives load pattern on all engaged tooth flanks of your open gear..
Required quantity of Klüberplex AG 11-462 would be approximately 25 kg.
Start afterwards the spray system with the operational lubricant Klüberfluid C-F 3 ULTRA, go for continuously spraying and make at least one complete rotation of the gear rim driven only with the auxiliary drive.
As soon as a basic layer of Klüberfluid C-F 3 ULTRA is on all engaged tooth flanks provided, you can start the drive for normal operation.
During normal operation Klüberfluid D-F 1 ULTRA repair/forced running in lubricant will be applied with a Klübermatik KD additional to the Klüberfluid C-F 3 ULTRA operational lubricant.
Required quantity of Klüberfluid D-F 1 ULTRA: ~ 15 kg.
This so called forced running in has to be carried out by a Klüber specialist and will take roughly one day for applying of the repair/forced running in lubricant.
On the following day during the morning the finally condition of the drive will be inspected together with your maintenance stuff.
This kind of running in lubrication gives you the opportunity to save production time, because in this special case is no need to go for an increase of the load of the mill in steps within 300 to 500 operation hours. It offers you the possibility to start your drive immediately under full load.
The required settings regarding lubricant consumption, spraying/break time, strokes, ….. you will get from Klüber and the setting could be done during the time when the “forced running” in is carried out.
